MT2 launches this year a new firmware called eONU or ONU Emulator. The new firmware aims to test the OLT. Working with the existing hardware PONPlatform, the eONU is new firmware. It tests mainly the service configuration of the OLT. It focuses on the OMCI and GEM set up to create appropriate channel for the user data traffic.
