Q4 2024 PON Plugfest at CableLabs, Colorado, USA
MT2 provides its XGS-PON and 25GS-PON Analyzers
The plugfests give the OLT and ONU vendors an unique opportunity to improve their products through cross-testing and to achieve a better interoperability.
As a PON test equipment manufacturer, MT2 provided its XGS-PON and newly 25GS-PON Analyzers to the participants, offering an access to the protocol messages in real time. Thanks to its user friendly software application, users can spot easily interoperability issues on the protocol layer and obtain a comprehensive service configuration view.
“Allowing vendors to test their Optical Line Terminal (OLT) or Optical Network Terminal (ONT) solutions against each other is a great opportunity for the industry to move forward.” said Franck-Nicolas Sellier, MT2 CEO “By providing its well-recognized PON Analyzers, MT2 helps the companies to spot easily interoperability issues.”
MT2 has been an active member of the BroadbandForum for more than 15 years, most prominently through its involvement in the definition of PON test plans and its participation to Plugfest events. MT2 will continue to support the community and will participate to the next Plugfests.
